The 2021 Hancock Flat 50 starts in

We regret to inform you that after much thought and deliberation, that the members of the Hancock Flat 50 steering committee have decided to cancel the Annual Hancock Flat 50 for 2020.  We are deeply saddened by the unfortunate situation that COVID19 has placed not only on our event, but also on our sponsors, community partners, participants and volunteers, all of whom are critically important to making this event possible.
Hancock Health/healthy365 have been following the progression of the virus and have been diligent in trying to keep our community safe.  It would be difficult to host such a large event and implement all the necessary safety precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. We understand if you are disappointed with this and want you to know that this has not been an easy decision.  Our riders from near and far look forward to this event every year, and our community was excited to celebrate our 5-year anniversary.

We are grateful to our loyal riders who have registered for this year’s event and are offering the option to (1) donate your registration to Hancock Flat 50 incurred expenses, (2) defer your registration to cover the 2021 Hancock Flat 50 on August 28, 2021, or (3) request a refund; a refund processing fee of $5 will be deducted from every refund. Please click here to indicate how you wish to handle your paid registration BEFORE August 29, 2020.

The Hancock Flat 50 steering committee sincerely regrets any disappointment and inconvenience caused by cancelling this event.  We hope you will continue to cycle safely this year. Production of 2020 merchandise has been cancelled and designs for shirts and jerseys will be used next year.

We look forward to seeing you next year on August 28, 2021! If you have any further questions, feel free to email or
call 317-468-4231.

Be healthy and stay safe,

Hancock Flat 50 Steering Committee
